19 Killed, Dozens Injured in Boko Haram Suicide Attack

A deadly suicide attack rocked Kawuri village in Borno State, leaving a trail of devastation:

– 19 innocent civilians lost their lives

– Dozens more were injured

– The attack involved multiple suicide bombers

– The incident occurred at a bustling mini market around 8 p.m.

This latest attack comes on the heels of recent violent incidents in the area, including:

– A fatal IED explosion on the Maiduguri-Damboa-Biu highway, claiming an Accountant’s life and injuring others

– A series of suicide bombings in Gwoza, resulting in 32 deaths and over 100 injuries

– A police station attack in Jakana, leaving a police driver and his girlfriend dead, with stolen motorcycles, arms, and ammunitions

In response to the escalating violence, security agencies have urged the public to exercise extreme caution when gathering. The injured are receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital in Maiduguri.
