2023: Tinubu visits Tompolo in Delta

The Presidential Candidate of All Progressive Party, APC, for the 2023 election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has visited the former leader of the defunct Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND) High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo to appeal for his support for his presidential bid.

This is coming on the heels of Tinubu’s last Saturday visit to Warri, Delta state where he flagged off the APC’s Presidential and Governorship campaigns in the state.

It was learned Tinubu who was at the riverine community, Oporoza, the ancestral headquarters of Gbaramatu kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, as part of his presidential campaign consultative visit to stakeholders and leaders in the Niger Delta, was conferred with the Iyelawei of Gbaramatu Kingdom by the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba.

The party’s Presidential flag-bearer, the minister of State, Petroleum, Chief Timipre Sylva, his counterpart in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, and APC Presidential Campaign Council spokesman, Festus Keyamo, Governors Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano and Mai Mala Buni of Yobe and Deputy- Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, APC deputy governorship candidate, Hon. Friday Osanebi, Chief Ayirimi Emami, and others.
