2026 World Cancer Day: First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Urges Nigerians To Be United In Voices And Action

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu says Nigeria can build a stronger, more compassionate response to cancer, by listening to individual stories and placing people at the centre of care that is rooted in prevention, early detection, access to quality treatment, and sustained support.

This is in her message marking World Cancer Day 2026, with the theme
“UnitedByUnique”.

Reminding Nigerians that every cancer journey is different, the First Lady expresses hope that by uniting voices and actions, the country can move closer to a cancer-free future for all.
