Market women laud Gov Obaseki of clearing criminals from Inikorogha, Mile 3

Following the return of peace and sustained security in the Inikorogha community and mile 3, market women in the area have commended governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State for riding off the area of criminal activities.

This was contained in an interview
with Mrs Stella Ofiamu, the market mother of mile 3, filed by our reporter in the Inikorogha community during the weekend.

According to her, she had lived in the area for over 20years, and since she came there, she had never enjoyed the kind of peace she is enjoying now that His Excellency, Godwin Obaseki had intervened in security issues of the area through Hon. Daniel Ezekiel, and his SSA, General God’s Time Ogidigba to clear the area of criminal elements and bring much glory to the Inikorogha community and Mile 3 axis.

The statement reads, “My name is Mrs Stella Ofiamu, l am the market mother of Mile 3, I have lived in this place for over 20yrs, since I came here, I have never enjoyed the kind of peace I am enjoying until, His Excellency, Godwin Obaseki intervened through Hon. Daniel Ezekiel and his SSA, General God’s time Ogidigba to salvage the area of criminal elements and brought much glory to the Inikorogha and Mile 3 axis. The peace we are enjoying now is through the efforts of the governor of Edo State.

“This Mile 3 area and Inikorogha community have never been this peaceful, the criminals will come and raid, molest or raped the market women either once or two times in every two weeks and it has been like that until Governor Obaseki came and with the effort of general God’stime and Hon. Daniel Ezekiel, some of the criminals were arrested and others were chased out of the area.

“Meanwhile, God’s time and Ezekiel have planted the tree that most of us are enjoying today, which of course I mean Mile 3 market, the relative peace and the road construction that is currently ongoing. Now people from Lagos, Warri, Ibadan, Benin and everywhere are coming to the market, so it has drastically reduced hunger and increased the economic activities in the environment.

“However, we use this medium to appreciate His Excellency Godwin Obaseki, the Governor of Edo State for his sleepless efforts to make sure our communities see the light of the day, and enjoy proper security. We thank you! our amiable governor” she maintained.
