2nd Anniversary: Otuaro Hails Delta Speaker Guwor, Members’ Dedication To Democracy

Former Deputy Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Deacon Kingsley B. Otuaro, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, and all members of the 8th Assembly as they mark the second anniversary of their legislative service.

Describing the milestone as a significant moment for both the House and the people of Delta State, Otuaro commended the lawmakers for their dedication to democracy and the principles of effective governance.

“I commend your collective commitment so far in sustaining the legislative arm as a vital pillar of democracy, and in upholding the responsibilities of lawmaking, representation, and oversight,” he stated.

Encouraging the Assembly to focus on impactful legislation, Otuaro urged the lawmakers to address the real needs of Deltans through people-centered laws.

He also emphasised the importance of unity, integrity, transparency, and service in their continued work.

He expressed hope that the House would continue to collaborate with the executive and judiciary to strengthen governance and meet the aspirations of the people.
