@54: INC Felicitates Tompolo, Commends Him for Selfless Services

The Ijaw National Congress, INC, has felicitated High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo as he marked another historic moment in his life.

INC described him as an illustrious son of Ijaw Nation, stating that Tompolo has played a vital role in the struggle for resource control and self-determination and had been a voice for the marginalized people of the region.

In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Eng Ezonebi Oyakemeagha, urged Tompolo to continue to be a shining example to the people in the Niger Delta and to use his influence and resources for the betterment of his people, while praying for God’s blessings, wisdom, and guidance in all his endeavors.

The statement reads, “The Ijaw National Congress, INC, wishes to felicitate High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo on his 54th birth Anniversary celebration. Celebrating Tompolo at this auspices moment in his life is poignant and significant for his selfless efforts in advocating for the rights of the Ijaw people and his contributions to the development of the Niger Delta region.

“As a prominent leader in the Niger Delta, Tompolo has played a vital role in the struggle for resource control and self-determination and has been a voice for the marginalized people of the region.

“We also acknowledge Tompolo’s contributions to the peace and security in the Niger Delta through his involvement in the disarmament and demobilization process of ex-agitators. His efforts have helped to bring about a more stable and peaceful environment for the people of the region.

“On this special occasion of his birthday, we join in celebrating Tompolo and his achievements. We salute his courage, dedication, and selflessness in serving the interest of the Ijaw people and the Niger Delta as a whole.
