BREAKING: APC’s Binani Elected as First Female Governor In Nigeria

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Senator Aisha Dahiru, popularly known as Binani, as winner of the Adamawa Governorship election.

Binani contested under the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.

The declaration was made Sunday April 16, by the Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC Adamawa State, Hudu Haruna Ari following the supplementary elections.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner for the state, Barrister Hudu Yunusa made the declaration following the supplementary election held on Saturday, April 15.

With the declaration, Binani had set a new record in Nigeria political space to become the first female Governor in Nigeria
