One killed as Danfo bus collides with BRT bus in Lagos

Pandemonium on Wednesday as commercial bus driver died in Lagos auto crash after colliding with BRT Bus.

Our reporter who was at the scene of the incident report that a government-owned BRT bus and two yellow “Danfo” vehicles were involved in a collision on Wednesday, which resulted in the death of an unidentified commercial bus driver.

The accident, which occurred around the Ogudu bridge, inward the Alapere area of Lagos State, grounded vehicular movement and caused snake-like gridlock along the ever-busy axis connecting the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The BRT bus went up in flames, compounding the traffic situation along the axis.

The collision was attributed to the buses’ excessive speeding -according to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority’s (LASTMA) spokesman, Adebayo Taofiq.
