Again, Norway Monarch, King Harald Hospitalized

The information coming from the palace of His Royal Majesty, King Harald revealed that the 86-year-old monarch is down with an infection and he had been hospitalized.

Recall, the monarch in 2003 did a bladder operation for cancer and in 2005, he had surgery for heart problem, in 2022, he was hospitalized for having infections and also Covid-19 respiratory problems.

It was reported that due to the health challenges, the King could not attend King Charles III coronation in United Kingdom, he was represented by his son prince Haakon and princess Mette-Marit to represent Norway’s royal family at the event.

At the moment, it wasn’t yet known may be the king will partake in the earlier scheduled program in commemorating Norway and Europe’s liberation from Germany.

” His Majesty the king is ill and has been admitted to the national hospital in Oslo,” the he statement from palace reads.

“The king has infection that must be treated and will therefore stay in hospital for several days,” the statement added.

King Harald is the grandson of king Haakon VII, the first Norway regent after the nation received independence.
