Scorecard: Over 410,000 Jobs Created Under My Ministry – Fashola

Former governor of Lagos state and the Minister of Power, Work and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola has stated what his Ministry has done for eight years under the Buhari administration.

Fashola asserted that his administration was to focus on improving the living conditions of citizens and reducing poverty.

The minister, speaking during a program titled ‘Tour of Duty, a Time and economic report’ (2015-2023), graded himself excellently adding that the ministry he headed was influenced by the ideologies of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress.

According to the Minister of Power, Work and Housing, he affirmed that the ministry was able to generate 412,991 jobs in the works and housing sectors only for the past 8 years.

The ministry met a budget of 18 billion, but presently it has been increased to 224 billion.

He added that in 2019-2022, not less than 9,290 kilometres of roads were constructed and about 2,270,319 metres of lanes were marked.
