The present condition of the Local Government Primary School, Oreta in the Igbogbo / Bayeku area of Ikorodu, Lagos State has become worrisome as the environment has become unconducive for the pupils. The school was established in 1948, 75 years old now.

The photographs of the Primary School show a very worrisome and shameful condition of the school. The disheartening images from the school show an uncomfortable academic environment where pupils learn daily

The ceiling was in a condition that it could collapse anytime, while the floor in each classroom is nothing but a disgrace.

According to the pictures, many classes are without windows and doors which made way for animals to enter the classrooms.

However, Ikorodu Indigenes are appealing to the state government and the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board including the Igbogbo / Bayeku Local Government Education Authority for swift intervention in the reconstruction of the school.
