Security Operatives Raid Terrorists’ Hideout In Kano, Recover Arms

Following an intelligence report received by security Operatives that high-profile terrorists were regrouping in the north West, the Department of State Service, DSS, affirmed its joint raid with military and police forces.
The DSS stated that it joined raids with the military and police forces on terrorist hideouts in some parts of Kaduna and Kano State.
In a statement signed by Dr Peter Afunaya, the DSS Spokesman, he stated that the terrorists used improvised explosive devices against the security Operatives.
It was reported that one of the terrorists blew himself while three suspects were apprehended, and recovered two suicide jackets, one AK47 rifle, a pistol and one laptop computer.
Mr Peter, the DSS Spokesman commends the Nigerian military and police for their support during the operation which led to success.
He assured the citizens that all the security agencies will continue to work together for the protection of lives and properties in the states.
