Dog Lover Expresses Outrage as Chef Hilda Baci Cook, Eat Dog Meat

A dog lover named Jackie Idimogu, who leads the My Dog and I group, has expressed her deep disappointment and betrayal towards Chef Hilda Baci and influencer Enioluwa. She accuses them of turning her beloved “babies” into a delicacy.

Jackie had previously shown her support for Hilda during a cook-a-thon, where members of the My Dog and I group wore their shirts to show solidarity.

However, her shock and dismay were palpable when she discovered a video on Instagram showing Hilda and Enioluwa eating dog meat.

In a video shared on her Instagram Reel, Jackie expressed her disappointment in Enioluwa, who claims he did not eat the dog meat. Regardless, she firmly states her refusal to be associated with any gathering where dog meat is served, calling it a taboo.

Jackie raises concerns about the safety of dogs around Hilda, fearing that she only sees them as ingredients for her cooking and not as beloved companions. She believes that Hilda’s actions misrepresent Nigeria as a country of dog eaters and calls for her to be “cancelled.”

Chef Hilda Baci gained international attention when she recently attempted to break the Guinness World Record by cooking for 100 consecutive hours, drawing global recognition to Nigeria’s culinary scene.
