EFCC Invites Malami, Seven Others For Interrogation

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has invited the former minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami for interrogation over corruption allegations

The anti-graft agency reportedly invited Malami and seven other former ministers under ex-president Muhammadu Buhari.

It was reported that the invitation was bordering on corruption allegations.

The top government officials are to explain how they managed the funds allocated to their various ministries.

However, the invitation letter was also extended to suspended EFCC chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa.

Recall, Bawa was suspended on the order of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday, June 9, and replaced with the deputy.

It was learnt that the former minister of police affairs, Muhammad Maigari, has been summoned on how he managed the Police Trust Fund.
