Protesting Urobo/Isoko Youth Urge Tinubu To Terminate Omo-Agege Pipeline Surveillance Contract

The coalition of Urobo and Isoko Ex-agitators in Delta state has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to use his executive order to terminate the pipeline surveillance contract of Senator Ovie Omo Agege.
The group called for the termination of the contract due to the alleged diversion of Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, pipeline surveillance slots meant for Urobo and Isoko Youths.
The angry protesting youths came out in large crowds along the DSC road by Express junction in Udu Local Government Area of Delta state.
They condemned the action of Senator Ovie Omo Agege whom they alleged to have cornered what belongs to them.
In a press statement signed by the chairman, Godspower Okoro, call the immediate arrest, prosecution and termination of the pipeline surveillance contract awarded to Senator Ovie Omo Agege.
He pleaded with the president to approve the establishment of the Artisanal Modular Refineries Development Commission, AMRDCO, to put an end to all forms of illegal bunkering in the Niger Delta region.
The angry protesting youths further maintained that Omo Agege influenced the pipeline surveillance contract to be awarded to his proxy, identified as Jimmy Omo-Agege, who refused to engage the Urhobo and Isoko Youths.
It was maintained that the Emna Fleet, a pipeline surveillance company owned by Emami Ayeri and Tantita security company, owned by Oweizide Ekpomupolo, pay their supervisors N300,000 and filed boys N200,000 monthly, while the Caeser and Emperor of Orogun are paying his Kingsmen the sum of N60, 000.
