Adamawa Vigilante Marries Norwegian Woman He Met On Social Media

Hamman Joda Isa, a vigilante in Adamawa State, has married Diana Maria Lugunborg, a Norwegian woman he met on social media.

According to information, the couple tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Yola town, Yola North Local Government area of the state on Saturday, July 16, 2023.

Diana, who is a student at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, reportedly came to Nigeria to meet Isa after they met on a social media platform.

The couple’s wedding was attended by family members and friends from both Nigeria and Norway.

Isa, who is a member of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), said he was happy to have married Diana.

“I am very happy to have married Diana,” he said. “She is a beautiful and kind woman, and I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with her.”

Diana, who is fluent in Hausa, said she was excited to start her new life in Nigeria.

“I am very happy to be married to Hamman. He is a wonderful man, and I am looking forward to learning more about his culture and Nigeria,” she said.
