Rights advocacy: Ogedegbe bags merit award on outstanding performance

A human rights lawyer and Director of the Conference For Human Rights, aka, (Confab), Omes Ogedegbe, Esq has bagged another merit award for being outstanding in the defence of human rights.

The award which was presented to him during the weekend by the Anti-Cult volunteers of Ughelli north local government area.

Presenting the award, the group said Ogedegbe had done excellently well in the rights advocacy and mentorship of civil society groups in the state.

Ogedegbe, in response, appreciated the security group for finding him worthy to be presented with an award of excellence.

He said the award would encourage him to do more for humanity, while assuring the group for his continued support.
