Again, suspected phone thief set ablaze in Warri

Suspected phone thief has been set on fire by angry mobs in Warri, Delta State.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when the mobs apprehended a suspected phone thief and burnt him alive.

The suspect reportedly stole a phone belonging to a trader in Jugbale Market, Udu Road and was caught as he was trying to escape.

The phone was recovered during the course of beating, but the angry mobs ignored the appeal sympathizers to hand him over to the police and set him ablaze along Udu Road.
