BREAKING: Ijaw national leader dies

Renowned Niger Delta leader and former Chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, Chief Edwin Clark, passed away at the age of 97. As announced by his family, Chief Clark died on February 17, 2025.

The family, in a statement signed by Prof CC Clark and Mr. Penawei Clark, expressed gratitude for prayers and promised to release further details later.

Chief Clark was a distinguished Ijaw national leader, former Federal Commissioner for Information, and a champion of the Niger Delta people’s interests.
