The embattled Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom, Chief Ayirimi Emami, stated today that the delegation that visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa yesterday are not leaders of the APC in Delta State. He mentioned that the three senators from the three senatorial districts, accompanied by the Minister of Aviation, Mr. Festus Keyamo SAN, and others, merely went for the visit.

Chief Emami stated this through the Spokesman of the Ologbotsere Descendants Worldwide, Mr. Alex Eyengho.

“Those who visited Mr. President yesterday, as far as I am concerned, are just three senators: one from Delta North who recently defected from PDP to APC, Sen. Ned Nwoko, and our two original senators, Joel Onowakpor for Delta South Senatorial District and Ede Dafinone for Delta Central Senatorial District.”

According to him, “They went to visit Mr. President, which is normal. I don’t see that as being the leadership of Delta APC.

That delegation is not the leadership of Delta APC. The three senators went, and they were accompanied by the Minister of Aviation, Mr. Festus Keyamo SAN. So, they went with some other people, including the chairman and the rest of them. That’s not the APC leadership in Delta State. I need to make that point very clear.

“The three senators, mind you, Mr. President is also a distinguished senator. He was a senator in 1992. One senator has defected from PDP to APC. So, APC today has the three senators in Delta State. That shows that the three senatorial districts are being controlled by APC, and that’s a warning signal to PDP that come 2027, it is not going to be business as usual. In fact, it’s going to be business unusual because we’re going to take over in 2027.

“I repeat, the delegation to Mr. President, that’s not APC leadership. That’s just a delegation of the three senators in Delta State who visited Mr. President, and some other people joined them.”

He urged the APC faithful to keep hope alive. “This is renewed hope. Together, if we work together, we are going to take over Delta State come 2027. We are going to take over the governorship of Delta State. We are going to seize control of the State House of Assembly, and we are going to produce at least 60-70% of the House of Representatives. Already, we have three senators.”
