Northern Group Congratulates COAS Olufemi on 58th Birthday urges support

The National Consensus Movement of Nigeria, led by President Dr. Awwal Abdullahi Aliyu, has congratulated Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede on his 58th birthday. General Oluyede, the Chief of Army Staff, has demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, and commitment to enhancing security in Nigeria.

In a statement signed by Dr, Awwal Abdullahi Aliyu said Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede celebrates a milestone in a distinguished military career that has spanned decades. Born into a family of modest means, General Oluyede’s rise to prominence is a testament to his hard work, determination, and passion for serving his country.

Throughout his career, General Oluyede has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the complexities of security challenges in Nigeria. He has held various command and staff positions, including serving as a Commander of a Brigade and later as a Principal Staff Officer at the Army Headquarters.

General Oluyede’s appointment as Chief of Army Staff marked a new chapter in his illustrious career. As COAS, he has been instrumental in shaping the Nigerian Army’s strategy and operations, leveraging his vast experience and expertise to drive positive change.
