As the world marked International Youth Day today, the Niger Delta Movement for Coalition (NDMC) has called on young Nigerians to take a front line role in shaping the country’s political future by joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In a statement signed by its Chairman and Coordinator, Hon. Ezekiel Daniel Perela, the group praised the wild and massive acceptance the ADC is gaining across the nation, describing it as a sign of the party’s vision for a better and more inclusive Nigeria.

Perela urged youths of like minds to align themselves with the rising political tide, stressing that their energy, creativity, and passion are vital in driving the positive change sweeping across the country.

“Your future is at stake, and it is crucial that you take ownership of the decisions that will shape your destiny, he said. The ADC offers a platform for young people to contribute meaningfully to the country’s development and progress” he added.

The NDMC leader emphasised that youths are not only the leaders of tomorrow but also of today, adding that their active involvement in governance will help build a just, equitable, and prosperous nation. He said the coalition remains committed to empowering young Nigerians and providing avenues for them to express their views and influence policy.

Perela concluded by calling on young people nationwide to join the ADC and be part of what he described as a transformative political movement.

Together, we can achieve greatness and create a better future for ourselves and generations to come, he said.

International Youth Day, observed annually on August 12, celebrates the contributions of young people worldwide and seeks to highlight their potential in driving innovation, social change, and sustainable development.
