Ex-Edo Governor Aide, Osia Throws Weight Behind Tompolo’s Door-to-Door Campaign For Tinubu Re-election

Former Senior Special Assistant to the Edo State Governor, Hon. David Osia has publicly declared his support for High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, in his door-to-door campaign to rally support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term bid.

According to him, Tompolo support for Tinubu re-election was a square peg in a square hole, urging well-meaning Niger Delta people to massively support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2nd team bid.

Osia maintained that President Bola Tinubu deserves the support of the Niger Delta people, noting that he has demonstrated strong love for the region by awarding massive security jobs to illustrious sons of the region, signing into law Nigeria Maritime University, appointment of their illustrious son Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro as administrator of the presidential Amnesty programme, appointment of Dr Samuel Ogbuku as MD Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

He emphasised that the Presidential Amnesty Programme led by Dr Otuaro and pipeline surveillance contract awarded to Tompolo have significantly boosted Nigeria’s security architecture and restored relative peace to the creeks.

Osia believes Tompolo’s efforts have drastically reduced oil theft and pipeline vandalism, saving Nigeria billions of naira in lost revenue, adding that with increased oil production, Nigeria can fund more developmental projects across all regions.

He insisted that the region’s participation in national politics is stronger under Tinubu’s leadership, and a second term would consolidate these gains.

Osia stressed that Tompolo’s involvement in the surveillance contract has promoted peace and stability in the Niger Delta, making him a crucial ally for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
