BREAKING: Britain Prepares Grand Royal Welcome For Trump’s Second State Visit

By Micheal Chukwuebuka
Britain is preparing to roll out an elaborate royal welcome for Donald Trump later on Wednesday, as the former US president arrives for an unprecedented second state visit. King Charles III will formally greet him under heightened security, with the event carefully shielded from anticipated protests.
The visit will feature a carriage procession with the monarch, a dramatic fly past, and a lavish state banquet at Windsor Castle, which has stood for nearly a millennium. Officials say the UK is going to extraordinary lengths to impress the 79-year-old Republican, with pageantry designed to appeal to his well-known admiration for the British monarchy and grand displays of ceremony.
A major security operation will ensure Trump is kept well away from demonstrators and the wider public, where polling continues to show him unpopular. The carefully choreographed spectacle will take place almost entirely behind closed doors and outside London.
Trump, who already enjoyed a full state visit hosted by the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2019, is the first American president to be granted such an honour twice. British officials have described the forthcoming reception as the most extensive military ceremonial welcome for any state visit in living memory, surpassing even that of Trump’s previous trip.
