President Tinubu Holds Closed-Door Meeting With Gov. Fubara

President Bola Tinubu, on Monday, evening held a closed-door meeting with Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

This was made known by the governor, who disclosed that the purpose of the meeting was to appreciate President Tinubu for suspending the emergency rule, earlier imposed on the state.

He said, “I visited Mr. President today to thank him on the lifting of the suspensions and state of emergency that had been imposed on the state.

“While I briefed him on my resumption, he offered some advice on charting the way forward.”
