Zamfara Royal Father: We will join hands to struggle for the revised Islamic syllabus to instill creed and morality

The Zamfara State Chairman Council of Chiefs and the Emir of Anka, Alhaji Attahiru Muhammad Ahmad decried over what he described as strange behavior and religious practice in the name of Islamic teachings which usually emanates from collages and higher institutions of learning life style.
The Royal Father, stated this at the closing ceremony of Leadership training and retreat of 200 Youths leaders across Institutions of learning in Zamfara State, organized by the Emir of Kaura, Sarkin Kiyawa Major Sanusi Muhammed Asha (rted) in collubration with the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Zamfara Area Unit, held in Kaura Namoda Federal Polytechnic.
Alhaji Attahiru Ahmad further attributed moral decay and corruption of actual Islamic teachings to European style of Islamic scholarship in Nigerian education system contained the school syllabus which needs to be revised.
“The European style of Islamic scholarship and syllabus in our collages and higher institutions of learning are the remote courses of all corrupted attitudes found in our Youth today and as well as the manifestations of new Islamic creed that resulted to Security threats in Nigeria. The Royal Father lamented.
The Emir of Anka, Alhaji Attahiru Ahmad also said, the traditional royal council will definitely join hands with the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) to struggle for the review of the Islamic syllabus.
“We will join hands with MSSN to advocate for the review and as well, revised of the Islamic syllabus in our schools to suit the real Islamic creed (Tauhid) and morality to avoid further security threats in the name of Islam.
The Royal Father, who is a former Security personnel with Nigerian Intelligent Agency (NIA), said, the foresight of the Emir of Kaura, who is also a former security personnel to bring together over 200 Youth leaders of Institutions of learning and trained, is worthy of recommendation.
“Seen such a security initiative from the Emir of Kaura Namoda might not be a surprise to us because he is acquainted with security tips and I also as a former NIA personnel, we are the first set of NIA to be recruited in Nigeria, I will make sure that this initiative continues. The Emir of Anka said.
