Tinubu Has Worsened Nigeria’s Problems — Ibrahim Little

By Diafa Doubra,
A prominent northern political figure and former presidential aspirant, Alhaji Ibrahim Little, has expressed disappointment over the current state of the nation, saying that the challenges Nigerians faced under former President Muhammadu Buhari have become even worse under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Speaking in an interview with journalists, Little lamented that instead of improving the economy and the living conditions of citizens, Tinubu’s government has deepened the country’s socio-economic woes through unpopular policies and poor governance decisions. He noted that inflation, unemployment, and insecurity have all intensified, leaving millions of Nigerians in despair.
The politician argued that the removal of fuel subsidy, naira devaluation, and rising cost of living have placed unbearable hardship on ordinary Nigerians. He urged the president to urgently review his economic strategies and prioritize the welfare of citizens over political interests.
Little further called on Nigerians to remain patient but vigilant, stressing that leadership must be people-focused and that the government must take bold, corrective steps to restore public confidence and hope in the nation’s future.
