Nigerian troops have recorded another major success in the ongoing fight against terrorism, neutralizing nine terrorists and rescuing 37 kidnap victims during a series of coordinated operations across the country.

According to a military statement released on Tuesday, the troops engaged the terrorists in intense gun battles that led to the recovery of several weapons and ammunition. The rescued victims, including women and children, were freed from various terrorist hideouts and have since been reunited with their families after undergoing medical checks.

The Defence Headquarters commended the troops for their bravery and reaffirmed the military’s commitment to eliminating criminal elements threatening national security. It also urged citizens to remain vigilant and continue providing intelligence that could help security agencies track down fleeing terrorists.

This latest operation adds to a string of recent military victories, signaling renewed momentum in the government’s effort to restore peace and stability across the northern region.
