‘Nnamdi Kalu Does Not Deserve A Pardon’ — Joe Igbokwe Warns FG

By Micheal Chukwuebuka
Prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Joe Igbokwe, has cautioned the Federal Government against granting a pardon or early release to the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
In a statement issued recently, Igbokwe argued that Kanu’s actions and inflammatory rhetoric had sown deep divisions and unrest across the South-East region, insisting that releasing him without following due legal process would send the wrong message.
“Nnamdi Kanu does not deserve a pardon. He must face the law for the consequences of his actions,” Igbokwe stated.
He urged the government to approach the matter with caution and ensure that justice is delivered in accordance with the law. According to him, true peace and reconciliation in the region can only be achieved through accountability and respect for legal processes.
