We will address the discomfort of monthly circles of school girls to improve education

The wife of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Oluremi Tinubu vowed to address the discomfort of girls in their education pursuing in Zamfara state.

The first lady described the situation as a barrier of gender differences which must break up aimed at promoting girls child education.

The program Flow with confidence is a part of the RHI program of the first lady.

“No girl will miss school because of the lack of sanitary pads it is unacceptable.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu represented by the Zamfara state first lady, Hajiya Hurriya Dauda Lawal said, girls are facing significant challenges during their menstrual cycle more especially in rural areas the situation that led others to abandoned school every month because they cannot purchase sanitary pad fear of staining their clothes while those that attend attend will end up using unsafe and unhygienic products.

“with the intervention of the RHI initiative under the Education framework, we will be distributing 370,000 school girls in rural communities.

The first lady distributed over 10,000 packs of disposable sanitary pads to 1,000 deserving girls in rural communities across the State where each benefit received one year of supply sanitary pads.

The theme of the program Flow with confidence empowering school girls through menstrual health was graced by the students of Government Girls Senior Secondary School Bungudu, Tsafe, Galadima and Tudun Wada in Gusau for the symbolic presentation.
