Defence Minister received Tinubu’s endorsement documents from Zamfara APC stakeholders

The Zamfara State APC stakeholders reaffirms their endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a sole presidential candidate in the state.

The state minister for Defence Bello Matawalle read the letter of state stakeholders meeting before the gathering where endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a consensus presidential candidate in the state.

“The latter is duely signed by all the party stakeholders in the state and attached to it are individual letters from the wards chairmen of all the stakeholders as affirming their decisions and I was given for onwards presentation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The minister stated.

The State Minister for Defence, Bello Muhammad Matawalle said Governor Dauda Lawal to recognized the Minister’s efforts to join hands with him and face the bedevilled security challenges of Zamfara State for proper solutions.

The minister made this accusation while speaking to his crowd party supporters at the state APC Secretariat, Gusau.

The minister was also accused Governor Dauda Lawal of not complementing Federal Government efforts in fighting the menace.

“The Governor refused to join hands with me, to work as a team and confront the security challenges of the state. The Minister accused.

Bello Matawalle further directed the troops to stop waiting for command in their onslaught against bandits.

“Stop waiting for command, I directed all troops deployed in Zamfara to plush out bandits and other criminals. Matawalle directed.

“We changed the security chiefs, we deployed more troops and from here I will go directly to meet the troops. Matawalle said.

The Defence minister also said Governor Dauda Lawal receiving huge money from the Federal government but refused to justify it.

“Within two years Governor Dauda received more N 1 trillion, Gusau alone is receiving N 10 billion, same time even N 15 billion and Maru Local Government also received N 7 billion monthly but no projects to show for such amount of money collected. The minister said.

The minister received decampees which includes, state House of Assembly member and one of the campaign sponsors of Governor Dauda, Bashir Adamu IMAD among others.
