Minister of State Defence Visits Operation Fansan Yamma Headquarters

The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Muhammad Matawalle has commended the troops of Operation Fansan Yamma for their dedication, courage, and sacrifice in the fight against criminal elements across the theatre.

The Minister made the commendation while on an operational visit to the Theatre Command Headquarters in Gusau, Zamfara State.

He encouraged the troops to remain resilient, vigilant, and focused as efforts intensify to restore lasting peace and stability in the region.

Matawalle reiterated the Federal Government’s commitment to providing more resources, logistics, and improved welfare to sustain the operational momentum.

He also praised the leadership of the Theatre Command for the successes recorded so far and emphasized the importance of continued synergy among all security agencies.

The Theatre Commander Major General Warrah Bello Idris, expressed appreciation to the Minister for the visit, describing it as a gesture that reaffirms the Federal Government’s unwavering commitment to supporting the ongoing operations in the North West.
