From Babangida Abdullahi, Gusau
Governor of Kaduna state, Sen. Uba Sani lauds President Bola Ahmed Tinubu support to Kaduna state.
Sen. Uba Sani who posted on his social media handle, showed his appreciation on the President characteristic warmth and generosity of spirit and attitude demonstrated to the people and Government of Kaduna State.

“I remain deeply appreciative. Uba Sani said.
“Our discussions were both substantive and forward-looking. I expressed my profound gratitude to the President for his unwavering support to Kaduna State, particularly in the critical sectors of agriculture and agribusiness. Uba said.
Kaduna has emerged as a national pacesetter: indeed, the first sub-national entity in Nigeria to establish both a Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) and an African Quality Assurance Centre (AQAC).
Sen. Uba Sani said these institutions will serve as catalytic anchors for modern agribusiness, export competitiveness, and the expansion of very crucial agricultural value chains across Northern Nigeria and the wider Sahel.

“The President was particularly gratified to learn that agriculture remains the cornerstone of our development strategy, a commitment reflected in our proposed 2026 budget, where sectoral allocations will once again exceed the Malabo Declaration benchmark of dedicating at least 10 percent of total public expenditure to agriculture. Uba Sani said.
“I also conveyed our gratitude for the Federal Government’s robust backing of Kaduna State’s ambitious transportation modernisation agenda. I provided the President with a detailed update on our landmark Light Rail initiative and our Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, the second of its kind in Nigeria after Lagos; both of which will redefine mobility, productivity, and economic integration in our state.

The President reaffirmed his strong support for our efforts to deepen peace and security, as well as his commitment to the accelerated completion of key federal infrastructure projects, notably the Abuja–Kaduna–Zaria–Kano expressway.
“It was, in every respect, a productive and highly rewarding engagement with Mr. President. Uba said
