ADC Reaffirms Leadership, Warns Against Unauthorized Actions

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) State Executive Committee has reaffirmed its commitment to operating within the party’s constitution and the bounds of the law.

“At a meeting held in Kaduna the committee affirmed the legitimate leadership led by Acting Chairman, Hon Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha.

The committee expressed concern over a recent “IMPORTANT NOTICE” issued by Hon Alex Tagwai and called on all parties, particularly Elder Patrick D Ambut, Victor Oluwatuyi, Alex Tagwai, and Ibrahim Musa, to comply with the State Working Committee’s and the State Executives Committee’s directive.

“The State Executive Committee affirmed Hon Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha as the Acting Chairman of ADC.

“The committee urged all parties to comply with the State Working Committee’s and the State Executives Committee’s directive.

The Committee emphasized that respect for judicial pronouncements is fundamental to democracy and peace.

They urged Members to intensify efforts in building Party structures in Local Governments and Wards across the 23 LGAs and avoid unauthorized actions.

“It was also agreed that any office created in the name of ADC without the official knowledge of the State leadership, will be deemed illegal, and legal actions will be taken. Procedures for donating or transforming offices must be done officially and legally.
