Instagram Model Found Dead Years After Cosmetic Surgery Accident
By Micheal Chukwuebuka
Mary Magdalene, a Canadian–Mexican Instagram model known for her controversial cosmetic enhancements, has been found dead, according to multiple reports. The influencer, whose real name was Denise Jarvis, reportedly died in Thailand after falling from the ninth floor of a high-rise apartment building.
The news was confirmed by her friend and fellow social media personality, Eden “The Doll” Estrada, who announced her death in a tribute shared online.
Mary Magdalene gained global attention in 2022 after suffering a ruptured breast implant, an incident that left her with a visibly uneven appearance and sparked widespread debate about the risks of extreme cosmetic surgery.
In an interview conducted in February 2023, she disclosed that she had started undergoing plastic surgery at the age of 18. She described her repeated procedures as a form of adrenaline-seeking behaviour, comparing them to extreme sports and admitting she constantly pushed her body to new limits.
The implant rupture later became a defining moment in her life. She said the experience prompted a spiritual re-evaluation and motivated her to step away from the exaggerated image that had brought her online fame.
In March 2023, she underwent breast reduction surgery costing approximately $33,000, reducing her implants to a C-cup. At the time, she said the decision represented a shift towards prioritising her health and personal well-being.
