Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri presented the 2026 Appropriation Bill to the Adamawa State House of Assembly, reaffirming a people-centred vision for growth, dignity, and shared prosperity.
With a proposed ₦583.3bn budget—over 64% allocated to capital development—the plan prioritises education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, SMEs, and poverty reduction.
Key highlights include near-completed model schools, the Fintiri Wings overseas scholarship scheme, hospital upgrades, women and youth empowerment for over 140,000 beneficiaries, and implementation of the ₦70,000 minimum wage.
Backed by strong fiscal discipline, Adamawa ranks among the top states in transparency, Ease of Doing Business, and debt reduction.
