The Ayakoromo Federated Community geared up plans to embark on a celebratory journey as its annual convention commenced tomorrow, December 29, 2025. The three-day event promises a vibrant display of culture, unity, and community spirit, with a range of activities lined up, including cultural dances, traditional displays, and recreational competitions.

The convention’s program features colorful cultural dances, the thrilling Ongusei displays, Agene Dance, and a quarter-by-quarter Ogele Dance Competition, among other events. The Events Arena has been beautifully decorated, symbolizing the community’s rebirth and collective pride.

The Ayakoromo Annual Convention Committee has made arrangements for lunch to be provided daily for participants throughout the convention, showcasing their commitment to welfare and hospitality. The committee has also introduced innovative changes, including professionally managed paper presentations and a handover ceremony for outgoing and incoming Town Executives.

The convention is expected to bring together sons and daughters of Ayakoromo, promoting unity, dialogue, and progress. “Ayakoromo shall rise. Our Convention lives again. Growth is assured,” said Engr. Henry Yeigagha (JP), Acting Secretary, Ayakoromo Annual Convention Committee.

However, the event promised to be a memorable celebration of Ayakoromo’s rich heritage and culture.
