A prominent Nigerian rights activist, Comrade Ozobo Austin, has praised the recent strikes of the United States on terrorist locations in Sokoto state in Northwest of Nigeria.

The activist described the US Mission in Nigeria as a “significant step forward” in Nigeria’s fight against terrorism and extremism.

The radical rights advocate commended the collaborative efforts of Nigerian security forces and international partners, particularly the US, in combating terrorism in the country.

However, he criticized the reaction of Omoyele Sowore, a Nigerian activist, describing it as an “outburst” that undermines the significance of the operation.

According to him, Sowore is turning into a gold digger and window dresser, arguing that he should not be taken seriously for supporting banditry and kidnapping menace that had created a nightmare for Christians and ordinary citizens in the country.
