Kaduna Govt Pledges Continued Support for Development Projects

The Kaduna State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring security and promoting development across various sectors of life for the people of the state.

Governor Uba Sani made this known during a book launch that documents the achievements of his administration over two years in office, published by the 14-14 Group. A book titled “Two Years of the 7-Point Agenda: An Assessment of Governor Uba Sani’s Transformative Initiative in Kaduna State”

Speaking through his Chief Staff Malam Sani Liman Kila, Governor Sani emphasized that his administration is focused on improving the living standards of the people through the execution of major projects in key sectors such as education, healthcare, security, and other critical areas of development.

Malam Sani Liman Kila commended the 14-14 Group for publishing the book, stating that it would help showcase the activities and achievements of the government to the public.

He called on the people of Kaduna State to continue giving their full support to the administration of Senator Uba Sani in order to achieve lasting peace, security, and sustainable development across the state.

In his welcome address Professor Aminu Ladan Sharehu, Director-General of the 14-14 Support Group for Senator Uba Sani, stated that the book is a testament to the governor’s remarkable achievements and is dedicated to the people of Kaduna State. The support group, established in July 2021, played a strategic role in the 2023 elections and has functional structures across the state.

“The book, written in honour of Governor Uba Sani, documents his achievements in the first two years of his administration, focusing on rebuilding institutions, restoring public confidence, promoting peace and security, and laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth and development.

The book is organized into ten chapters, tracing Governor Uba Sani’s early life, democratic journey, and implementation of the Seven-Point Agenda. It also features residents’ opinion polls on the governor’s performance.

Governor Uba Sani’s administration has made significant strides in education, healthcare, security, and infrastructure development. The 2026 budget, totaling ₦985.9 billion, prioritizes capital investment, with 25% allocated to education and 25% to infrastructure and rural transformation.

The proceeds from the book launch will support the governor’s empowerment initiative for Kaduna State citizens. A second version of the book is planned for January 2027.

In his remarks Member Representing Zaria, Kaduna state House of Assembly Barrister. Mahmood Lawal Sama’ila, House Chairman Committee on Education and Deputy Chief Whip of the House, praised Governor Uba Sani’s efforts, noting that he is doing well in almost every sector.

He mentioned that the Governor had recently commissioned two roads in Zaria and has many more ongoing projects. Bar. Sama’ila called on the people of Kaduna State to register their membership in APC to get ready for 2027 and vote for Uba Sani and Tinubu for a second term.

The launch was attended by distinguished guests, including the Honourable Minister of Environment, who wrote the book’s foreword.
