Warri ADC Reps Aspirant Applauds David Mark, Slams Akpabio For Kicking Against E-Transmission of Election Results

Warri federal constituency house of representatives aspirant, Hon. Ezekiel Daniel has commended former Senate President David Mark for standing firm on democratic principles and constitutional order. In a statement, he praised Mark’s courage and clarity in a critical moment for Nigeria’s democracy.

However, he strongly condemned current Senate President God’swill Akpabio for allegedly reducing his office to a spokesperson role for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He described Akpabio’s actions as “reckless interference” and warned that it undermines trust in the electoral process.

The youth O’Clock emphasised that the Senate President’s role is to check power, not shield it, and demanded independent INEC, transparent elections, and real-time electronic transmission of results. The group asserted that democracy is non-negotiable and their votes must count.
