BREAKING: Nat’l Association of Professional Divers Elects New Leadership

The National Association of Professional Divers (Naprod) has elected new leadership, marking a new chapter in the organization’s history.

The association elected Comrade Michael Iyang from Akwa-Ibom/Cross River State Chapter as President, while Comrade Vincent Gbogidi from Delta State Chapter takes on the role of General Secretary.

Other elected officials include Comrade Daniel Moses from Bayelsa State Chapter as Industrial Relation Officer and Comrade Godwin Ajudure from Delta State Chapter as National Financial Secretary and others during the weekend.

Speaking shortly after the election, President Michael Iyang emphasised unity and progress, stating, “As we embark on this journey, our priority is to elevate Naprod’s standards, ensuring our members’ welfare and safety are paramount. We’ll foster partnerships to create opportunities and promote professionalism in the diving industry.”

He urged members to work together, leveraging their expertise to drive growth and innovation.

In the same vein, the electoral committee chairman, Elder A. Forcados commended members for their peaceful conducts and impeccable support for the transition process.
