Controller General of Fire Service Visits Singer Market After Devastating Blaze

The Controller General of the Fire Service, Olamode Samuel Adeyemi, has visited Singer Market in Kano State to assess damage from the recent fire and meet with market leaders.
The visit follows President Bola Tinubu’s directive for a full investigation into the incident.
Speaking to journalists, the Controller-General said investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire. He stressed the importance of public awareness on fire safety and commended the community for supporting emergency responders.
He also announced plans to strengthen firefighting capacity, including the establishment of a new fire station at Singer Market to improve response time and service delivery across the state.
