Police Dislodge Bandits’ Camps In Kaduna

The Kaduna State Police Command has dislodged several bandits’ camps, recovered rifles and hard drugs in the state.

The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Mansir Hassan, in a statement, indicated that about 17 suspected bandits were arrested during a major clearance operation across four local government areas of the state.

He said that the operations were carried from February 10 to 13, and targeted suspected hideouts in the Kajuru, Tafa, Igabi, and Kauru Local Government Areas.

The PPRO stated that investigation is ongoing to dismantle wider criminal networks and arrest fleeing accomplices. He said the Command will ensure all suspects are prosecuted.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Rabiu Muhammad, giving confidence to residents, said that sustained intelligence clearance operations will continue across identified black spots to rid the state of banditry.
