Renewed Hope Initiative Distributes Food, Cash To 2,000 Vulnerable Women In Borno

The Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) has distributed food items to 2,000 women in Borno state as part of its Ramadan food distribution programme.
The State Coordinator, Dr. Falmata Zulum, wife of the Governor, said the gesture was aimed at easing the economic hardship and effects of insurgency on vulnerable women during the holy month of Ramadan.
Each beneficiary received a 25 kg of rice, 10kg of sugar, a carton of spaghetti, vegetable oil, and ₦20,000 cash.
Dr. Falmata Zulum urged the women to make good use of the items, describing Ramadan as a month of charity and blessings.
The initiative is part of the efforts of the wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to support women in need.
