INC Kicks Off 2026 National Ijaw Day Fiesta, Convention March 5-7

The Ijaw National Congress (INC) is set to launch its 2026 National Ijaw Day Celebration and National Convention, taking place from March 5th to 7th, 2026, at Ijaw House, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

The three-day extravaganza promises a thrilling mix of culture, politics, and sports, with a wrestling procession, book launch, high-profile speeches, and vibrant cultural performances on March 5th. The following day, March 6th, will host a non-elective convention, setting the stage for the elective convention on March 7th, where accreditation, voting, and declaration of results will unfold.

According to INC President Prof. Benjamin Okaba, this event marks a pivotal moment for the Ijaw nation, as they unite to celebrate their rich heritage and forge a path forward.
