A prominent group, the YCOM Movement has declared its total support for the third term aspirations of Rt. Hon. Dennis Emomotimi Guwor, Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, representing Warri South West constituency and Chief Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi for House of representatives, representing Warri federal constituency come 2027.

Congress news learned that Guwor is the current Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly representing Warri South-West State Constituency, he also chairs the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria,
while Ereyitomi represents Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

In a statement by its coordinator Hon. Company Yerinbowei Felix, the immediate past Councillor of Warri South-West LGA and currently serving as ODUWOR Central Chairman, Arotengha Quarters, Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, the duos deserved third Term support following their services and developmental strides to the people of Warri.

According to YCOM, the endorsement was based on the performance and ranking status of both lawmakers, which he said have brought “visibility and federal presence” to Warri South-West and the larger Warri Federal Constituency.

“Our decision to back Rt. Hon. Dennis Emomotimi Guwor for a third term in the Delta State House of Assembly and Chief Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi for a third term in the Federal House of Representatives is rooted in continuity, experience, and results,” YCOM said.

“As Speaker, Guwor has elevated Warri South-West at the state and national level. As a ranking member, Ereyitomi has used his influence to attract projects and ensure Warri Federal Constituency is not sidelined in Abuja. We cannot afford to lose that leverage.”

The group stated that the YCOM Movement, a grassroots political structure with members across the wards of Warri South-West LGA, will begin mobilization for both lawmakers ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He described the two legislators as “tested and detribalized leaders” who have carried all ethnic nationalities in Warri along, adding that their return would guarantee “stability and sustained development” for the area.

“Our people know what they have done. From project facilitation to youth empowerment and legislative advocacy, their scorecards speak. The YCOM Movement stands firmly with them,” he added.

However, Hon. Company Yerinbowei Felix served as Councillor in Warri South-West LGA until the end of the last council tenure in 2024. He currently holds the traditional title of ODUWOR Central Chairman, Arotengha Quarters, Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom.
