Defence Minister Purchases Nomination Form for Gov. Lawal

The State Minister for Defence, Bello Matawalle announced that he will purchase a nomination for Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State.

Matawalle stated that, at the APC Stakeholders meeting with other party chieftains at the Zamfara State Government House in Gusau.

Speaking at the meeting, Matawalle reaffirmed his support to Governor Dauda Lawal and also commended him for organizing the state high level important and timely meeting to seal up the foreseeable crack in the party.

All Former Zamfara State Governors discussed issues that concern insecurity, poverty among other issues.

“We must put our best foot forward to ensure peace and security in Zamfara State. As Minister of State for Defence, I will work with Governor Dauda Lawal to ensure Zamfara becomes truly great. Matawalle promised.

While reading the communiqué at the end of the meeting, they unanimously endorsed the leadership and reform agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as well as His Excellency, Dr. Dauda Lawal, the Executive Governor of Zamfara State.

“I believe that our greatness lies in working together; in coming together, we will make Zamfara great. Matawalle said.

The meeting was attended by all Former Zamfara State Governors, Deputies, Speakers, Lawmakers, party elders, leaders and all political appointees of the past and present.
