NOTN DG: Zamfara APC Strength lies on Our ability to work together toward 2027 Victory

The Director General of the Nigerian Office for Trades Negotiations (NOTN), Alhaji Sanusi Rikiji described the stakeholders meeting of the All Progressive Congress APC under the leadership of Governor Dauda Lawal as historic event, adding that it will bring unprecedented unity among leaders in the state.

Rikiji who is the former Speaker, Zamfara State House of Assembly, stated this while speaking with journalists at the APC stakeholders meeting held at Gusau Government House.

During the meeting, all stakeholders of the APC in Zamfara State have unequivocally supported the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dauda Lawal in the 2027 general elections.

The stakeholders’ meeting brought together critical party leaders, elected officials, elders, youth and women representatives, as well as key stakeholders across the fourteen (14) Local Government Areas of the State.

The meeting provided a strategic platform for extensive deliberations on party unity, governance alignment, security imperatives, and preparations for forthcoming party activities and the 2027 General Elections.

The NOTN Boss commended Governor Dauda Lawal for organising the first of its kind stakeholders meetings that served as turning point, marked by rare unity among political leaders across the state.

“This is historic event and welcome development to every good citizens of Zamfara, as you can see all our former governors starting from Senator Ahmad Sani Yariman Bakura, Alhaji Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari and current Minister of State for Defence Bello Muhammad Matawalle, Rikiji noted

The former Zamfara Speaker urged party members to sustain the spirit of cooperation, stressing that unity of purpose remains the foundation for lasting political success and development in Zamfara State.

“This is the first time in nearly three decades since the creation of Zamfara State, key political actors cutting across factions and interests have come together with a shared mission.

“This is the renewed spirit of unity signals a major shift from division to collective action”, he explained.

He emphasized that the strength of APC in Zamfara lies in its ability to work together toward clearly defined goals.

The former Speaker reaffirmed the stakeholders’ commitment to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal.

All APC stakeholders in Zamfara, we have resolved to rally behind Tinubu and Gov Dauda Lawal, leaders to ensure success in forthcoming elections.

“Today, history has been made in Zamfara State, “There has never been a political atmosphere like this, where individuals who have not sat together for 15 to 20 years are now meeting to pursue a common objective.”

Rikiji expressed optimism that the APC in Zamfara would emerge stronger and more formidable in the 2027 general elections

He added that the collective experience and understanding among party leaders would help in identifying capable individuals who can effectively deliver on the party’s mandate.

The former Speaker urged party members to sustain the spirit of cooperation, stressing that unity of purpose remains the foundation for lasting political success and development in Zamfara State.

The meeting, which drew prominent figures from across the state, is widely seen as a strategic move to consolidate unity, reposition the APC, and enhance its chances in future political contests.
