PHOTO NEWS: Delta CP Receives ACJMC Chairman in Asaba

The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, on Thursday, May 14, 2026, received the Chairman of the Administration of Criminal Justice Monitoring Committee (ACJMC), Hon. Justice G.B. Briki-Okolosi, during a courtesy visit to the Command Headquarters in Asaba.

The visit focused on strengthening collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and key stakeholders within the justice sector to promote effective criminal justice administration in Delta State.

Discussions during the meeting also centred on strategies to ensure speedy dispensation of justice, improved coordination among justice institutions, and the advancement of the rule of law across the state.

The engagement underscores the commitment of both the Delta State Police Command and the Administration of Criminal Justice Monitoring Committee towards fostering a more efficient and responsive justice system that will enhance public confidence and support the fight against crime.

The Delta State Police Command reaffirmed its readiness to continue working closely with relevant institutions and stakeholders in ensuring justice delivery and maintaining law and order in the state.
