Delta North Senatorial Race: No One Can Overruled Mandate Of Our People – Sen. Nwoko

Following the ongoing political fued between Sen. Ned Munir Nwoko And Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa in All Progressive Congress party (APC) in the recently concluded primaries in Delta North senatorial district, Senator Nwoko stated that the Delta North APC Primary was conducted in accordance with the rules and guidelines of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Noting that delegates freely exercised their democratic rights, and the outcome reflected the collective will of party members across the senatorial district.
“He reinstated that no individual declaration, announcement, or political maneuver can substitute for the lawful votes cast by accredited delegates. Democracy is founded on due process, transparency, and respect for the wishes of the people”.
He added, “I remain confident that the truth will prevail and that the integrity of the electoral process within our party will be upheld. My commitment has always been to the people of Delta North, whose overwhelming support continues to inspire our movement for progress, justice, and inclusive development”.
“I urge all our supporters to remain calm, peaceful, and steadfast. We must continue to place our faith in the party’s constitutional processes and the institutions responsible for ensuring that justice is done”.
He further stated, “that the mandate freely given by the people is sacred, and together we will protect it”.
